Ukulele is easy to get started on, but also a versatile instrument that you can continue to learn on while growing as a musician.
​
You decide what kinds of music you want to play, including specific songs.
​
​Lessons are for ages 7 & up, and cover technique (strumming, chords, picking), relevant music theory, and basic singing instruction.
​Cost is based on your location (if in-person), length of lesson, and number of students.
(The more students, the lower per-person cost.)
For your cost, contact Dave with your location and whether you'll come to him or he'll come to you (if in-person lessons), and expected number of students (usually 1, 2, or 3).
Dave Maloof has taught ukulele to people ages 5 to 80, and performs his own and others' music - singing while playing ukulele or piano - around New England and New York.

Stumbling across (and then buying) a $25 ukulele in a music store was truly one of the most fortunate "accidents" of Dave's life, and he loves to help others enjoy and learn the instrument as he has.
